This is our mission, as well as in Art in the Origin, NAT Art Residence and in the Seminars, to accompany you, guide you, take care of you, and contain you in the wonderful moment of creation.
We´ll be looking forward to you.
Particular conditions
NAT Art Residence, hereinafter the Residence will be governed by the following Specific Conditions:
Application for a place: You should complete the registration form on the website.
Applicants must include:
- Personal data.
- A short CV (up to 500 words)
- A brief text about your motivation to carry out the NAT Art Residence.
- 3 images of previous works (low resolution)
- Date for which the place is requested
We will make a preliminary assessment of the candidates, depending on the available places, and we will confirm the requested date or, if it is covered, we will propose you other options.
NOTE: If you have previously participated in another of our art programs it´s no necessary to send your CV, simply complete your personal data, the date of Residence that interests you and your motivation to carry out the residence.
Book a place:
Places are limited, therefore interested persons, once we have agreed on the date of the Residence, they must formalize the reservation of that place.
To reserve this place a payment of € 360.- per person is required.
This payment can be made on our online store through the Place Reservation product using the means of payment available in the store (credit card, Paypal or bank transfer)
Registration in the Online Store as costumer, at the time of payment of the Reservation, is mandatory so that, at the time of payment of the balance, we can apply the discount of the amount paid.
Booking confirmation.
After receiving the booking and confirming the payment, the artist will be notified by email of the acceptance of the reservation.
Final payment
Once the booking confirmation is received, and before the date of the beginning of the Residence, the participant must pay the balance of the total amount of the contracted service.
The total payment must be made at least 30 days before the residency begins.
For reservations made within the 30-day period prior to commencement, full payment is required immediately after the reservation is accepted.
Payment can be made through our online store, SM Pro Art Shop, using the access data that has been sent to you when accepting the reservation, through
- Credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
- Paypal
- Bank transfer
Note: For payments by bank transfer, please, take note that the amount that must be credited to the SM Pro Art account is the total amount of the product. The expenses and commissions charged by the issuing bank or the correspondent bank are the responsibility of the participant.
The Residence
Each participant must be available at the agreed place in the city of Santander or its airport, train or bus station, on the day set for the start of the Residence at around 2 pm to be picked up, together with all the group, and transferred to the Art Residence.
During your stay at the residence, you´ll visit the National Museum of Altamira and the Caves mentioned before, you will carry out your new project and, at the end of the Residence, you´ll make a final presentation of the work carried out.
Code of co-living: When entering, you must sign the co-living´s code and use of the facilities that you must respect during your stay, not only within the home, studio and green space, but also within public natural areas.
You will also be notified of the rules of use of the existing facilities taking responsibility for any damage caused by non-observance of these rules.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation of the Place Reservation before the payment of the balance.
Given the limited number of places and that the Place Reservation blocks one of those places, in case of withdrawal (tacit or notified), the 100% of the amount paid, for this concept, will not be reimbursed, even in a case of force majeure.
We may cancel the reservation made by a participant if full payment has not been received 30 days before the start of the Residence. The lack of accomplishment of the obligation to pay the balance of the total fee, in the required period, will be understood as a tacit withdrawal of the participant.
The amount of the Place Reservation will only be refunded if we cannot confirm your place or we would be unable to provide the booked service. In which case this amount will be returned to you using the same payment method that you have used.
Cancellation after the payment of the balance of the total amount.
Once the reservation is accepted and the balance was already paid, the participant can cancel their attendance with the following penalties in addition to the loss of the Place Reservation:
- Up to 30 days before the start date: the participant will lose the Place Reservation plus a 5% penalty calculated over the amount of the balance (€1.100)
- After 30 days and even before starting: the participant will lose the Place Reservation plus a 30% penalty calculated over the amount of the balance (€ 1.100).
- Once the service has started, there are no refunds.
Procedure:
The withdrawal must be communicated expressly to our email or to our postal address.
The date that will be computed for the purposes of our refund policy will be:
- The acknowledgment of receipt from us in the case of email or
- That of the postmark in the case of postal mail.
Any revision made within the Cancellation Penalty Period, such as a change in the Residency date, is subject to this cancellation policy. Arriving late or leaving a Residence in progress, for any reason, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portion of a Residence.
SM Pro Art Circle SLU reserves the right to cancel any Residence due to improper enrolment that makes the Residence economically impossible to operate or due to good faith concerns regarding the safety, health or well-being of the participants. If a Residence is cancelled prior to commencement, participants will be provided with a full refund of monies paid. Except in the event that the cancellation is due to a significant event that makes it impossible to operate the Residence as planned, in which case participants will be provided with a refund and / or credit for a future Residence equivalent to the amount paid on time. If SM Pro Art Circle cancels the Residency in progress, participants will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days that have not been completed at the Residency. In all cases if SM Pro Art Circle cancels a Residency, it has no responsibility for the expenses, including non-refundable expenses, incurred by the participants in the preparation of a cancelled Residency or for any additional arrangements.
Any situation not expressly provided for in these Conditions will be resolved by SM Pro Art Circle in the best possible way and trying to safeguard the interests of all the parties involved.
